The alleged Lindsay Lohan battery occurred after Lohan pushed Betty Ford Center staff member Dawn Holland, who had been called to perform an alcohol breath test on the actress, Reuters reports. Holland initially complained to police and wanted to press charges but later changed her mind. However, regardless of Holland’s desires, the prosecution still has the authority to press charges.
“The investigation determined Ms. Lohan violated several aspects of her probation, including the battery [charge],” the Palm Desert Police Department said in a press release Monday, adding that they plan to notify Lohan’s probation officer.
Lohan was already warned before going to rehab that if she violated probation, in even the slightest way, she would be sent back to jail. She was originally punished for a number of charges including two DUI’s and cocaine possession.
But is it really? Will she manage to stay out of jail yet again? If history is any indication, absolutely.
