Ron Goldman’s dad is trying to get his hands on the suit that his son’s accused murderer was wearing on the day he was acquitted.

In case you don’t remember who Ron Goldman was, Ron Goldman was the man allegedly killed by former football star, OJ Simpson in 1994. But how could anyone remember all the names and details of the OJ Simpson murder trial, after all, it was only the highest profile murder trial in recent history.

Fred Goldman, the father of Ron Goldman, filed a lawsuit to get O.J.’s suit – the suit he was wearing the day of his acquittal, to satisfy a $33.5 million wrongful death judgment. In 1997, a civil jury found OJ Simpson liable for the death of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson.

Of course, a civil jury can’t convict Simpson. But nevertheless, a huge judgment was awarded to the families of the victims, finding OJ Simpson liable.

As for Fred Goldman, a settlement conference is scheduled. The suit worn that day is currently with Simpson’s manager. As for Simpson, he’s ironically in jail for robbery.
