Corey Harrison, co-star of the TV show “Pawn Stars,” was arrested by California Sheriff’s deputies after they said he shoved a deputy and a security guard.
Corey “Big Hoss” Harrison, 27, of Las Vegas, was booked into jail Sunday at the Big Bear Lake, Calif. station on suspicion of battery and resisting arrest, Examiner.com reports.
So what did the big guy do?
Deputies arrived on the scene at the Big Bear Lake bar after Harrison and another customer got into a shoving match around 10:00 PM. Upon entering Murray’s Saloon and Eatery, Harrison attacked both the deputy and a security guard at the bar, the Star reports.
“We did hold him for a couple hours to let him sober up and then we released him. That’s standard procedure for us,” Wiltshire said, Gather.com reports.
Generally, the following elements must be proven to establish a case for battery:
- an act by a defendant;
- an intent to cause harmful or offensive contact on the part of the defendant; and
- harmful or offensive contact to the victim.
Pawn Stars airs on the History Channel. “Big Hoss” Corey Harrison has been working for his grandfather’s Las Vegas pawn shop since he was 9, according to the show’s website.
